Ranked by the touring professionals as one of the top courses on the PGA Tour®, Firestone Country Club's South Course has been host to the WGC Bridgestone Invitational since 2006. In the 1975 PGA Championship, Jack Nicklaus pulled out a remarkable par on the 16th hole, nicknamed the "Monster" by Arnold Palmer. The par 5, 677-yard hole is considered the hardest hole on the South Course.
